This easy apple crisp recipe can be served warm with ice cream or frozen yogurt. Each bite will remind you of Fall.
5 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
¾ packed brown sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup oats
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
8×8 glass dish, buttered
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Put apple slices in bottom of greased dish.
Mix remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over apples, completely covering them.
Bake about 30-35 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or eat as is.
