How to Make Your Own Homemade Bubble Recipe (cheaply)
1 1/4 cups of water
2 Tablespoons liquid dish soap*
1 1/2 teaspoons of Glycerin
Individual Plastic juice bottle 12 ounce or 16 ounce. Whatever is easier for the kids to hold. No glass please! This is slippery stuff.
Mix all the ingredients together in the bottle or bowl. Stirring gently. We are not making foam here.
Pour into the plastic bottle. Cap tightly and let this sit overnight for best results. That’s it!
*Depending on the brand of liquid dish soap you may need to adjust the amount.
So what do you use for a blower wand <– yes that is my technical term 😉
A plastic tie strap
A flat thin plastic lid. Use a hand held round hole punch to make the holes. (say that three times fast)
An old blower wand from the bubble mix you bought at the dollar store which lasted all of 5 minutes.
